If you're not sure where to go ice skating with kids in the Bay Area this holiday season, I've got you covered with this list!
You're probably wondering if little kids can enjoy ice skating.
My answer to that is.. it depends on the kid. Many of these ice rinks have the skating buddies to help new skaters and young kids have more support. These usually cost extra. Double check with the ice rink before you go, to ensure they carry small sized skates.
Some of my favorite Bay Area ice skating rinks for kids (especially toddlers) include:
Walnut Creek on Ice , because they offer a Littles Skate session for kids 5yo and under on Wednesdays mornings
Bay Area Discovery Museum- iceless skating, which couldn't be more perfect for toddlers!
Chabot Space & Science Center- sock skating!
The Tech Interactive- sock skating starting Dec 21

Hi. The San Mateo rink has a minimum age of four. Are there known minimum requirements for the other locations?
